Jen & Shawn Engagement Session @ The Bloedel Conservatory

When we met Jen & Shawn at Queen Elizabeth Park, Shawn told us he brought a "car" for photos. After we finished the session inside The Bloedel Conservatory, we walked to the parking area. We finally knew that why he mentioned about the car. It was an antique car! As he said, he will use another antique car in their wedding. We can't wait to see it!

Ivy & Gordon Engagement Session @ Gas Town

We were so excited when we knew Ivy wanted to have her e-session at night. Taking night shots are more challenging. I think ambient light in Gas Town is very romantic. There was a movie shoot over there and we "borrowed" their background light to make a shot. It was very different effect.

Carly & Charlie Engagement Session

After the windy week, we had a dry and warm weekend. It was a perfect day for shooting spring e-session. When we met Carly and Charlie at the parking lot of Stanley Park, their colorful clothes caught our eyes from a distance. I really like their choice of colors. They also brought their custom designed wedding T-Shirts. What a cute couple!

Crystal + Andy Engagement Session (Granville Island)

Vancouver's weather is very unstable recently. It rains almost every weekend. Weather forecast is not always accurate. Luckily, it didn't rain until we finished the e-session for Crystal and Andy today. The photo session was a lot of fun. This couple are absolutely gorgeous. Crystal told us about her engagement in Naomi's wedding. We took a sweet kissing shot for them as a little celebration. We look forward to shooting more beautiful pictures for them in their wedding.

I hope we can have all photo shoots on schedule and smoothly done. Then, we will spend 2 weeks in Tokyo, Japan at the end of April. I can't wait to visit Nikko and Kamakura, and Jessie is looking forward to her crazy shopping. :P

WPJA 2009 Q4 Winning Photo

It's Jessie's turn this time. She had an award winning photo in quarter 4 of 2009. This is her 3rd winning in year 2009. We should thank Novan and Gary for their trust. This shot was taken at the middle a busy road in Vancouver Downtown. It was sunset at that time, and we had to take the shot within 30 seconds before the traffic light turned from red to green.

Olympic City

Our home, Vancouver, is filled with people in these 2 weeks. The Olympic party still has a week. Because of works, Jessie and I didn't have much time to walk around and take photos. I think we should put our works aside for one day before this party ends. One thing I have to mention is I'm really proud to be a Canadian. No matter what, we line up automatically. It shows Canadian are really highly educated and very polite.

I hope you and your family will enjoy the final week of Vancouver Winter Olympic.

Have you ever seen this in Vancouver before Winter Olympic?

This Sky Rail thing is free but you will need to line up for 2 to 4 hours... Forget about it...
