A Sneak Peek of Rebecca + Raymond's Wedding at Swan E Set

After shooting Brian's wedding, we shot another good friend - Rebecca's wedding (This time, "we" mean Raymond & Brian. Yes... Brian shot this wedding after his own one after a week). Everyone worried about the rain but it ended up no rain and not as hot as Brian's wedding day. Brian's wedding sneak peek will posted next. Stay tuned.

We know we haven't updated this blog for a while. Photo shoot and editing schedule is very crazy in July. We will have more blog posts in August.

Kim + Steven Engagement

This session was shot in May. Because of the unstable weather, many shoots were rescheduled. At that time, we worried the most was Jessie's due date. We wanted to finish all shoots before mid-May. Fortunately, we got all done before 20th. Sometimes, partially sunny days had beautiful sky just like Kim & Steven's photos. At the same time, it wouldn't be too hot under the sun.

We brought Kim & Steven to various places such as Coal Harbour, Convention Centre, and Gas Town. The day was very smooth and Kim's beautiful smile made everything easy. Can't wait to shoot their wedding in a month!

We were working on photos edits almost everyday (and night) before the crazy July. All of the photos that we shot before our newborn baby arrived had to be done asap.

Priscilla + Mike Pre-Wedding Session

Most of our engagement and pre-wedding sessions in this year were shot in places near city area. However, Priscilla and Mike picked the beautiful places that we seldom shot at. The long narrow bridge across the water (or lake?) was very cool. TT Films' Tony and Tim shot along with us on the day. Priscilla told us Tim almost dropped into water. Too bad... we didn't capture that moment :-) Mike didn't feel well and coughing on the day but it didn't affect our shoot much.

We still didn't have a chance to test the new Sigma 50mm f/1.4 ART lens. We are happy with Canon 50mm F/1.2L but we want to have a better lens to replace our backup Canon 50mm f/1.4.

Sharon + Eric Maternity Session

We were very lucky to shoot Sharon & Eric's maternity session a bit earlier. Their baby daughter just arrived last week.

Weather was very unstable in the period of time. Raymond spent about half an hour to shoot their sunset part 3 days before their actual session. Then, Raymond and Billy shot their session on the unexpected sunny day. Usually, we wouldn't go too many places in maternity session (Long walk is bad for pregnant women). This time we went to 3 locations in 2.5 hours but we didn't feel too rush.

After finishing most engagement, baby, family, and pre-wedding sessions, we are going to pause for a while and start again after Jessie's baby arrives.
