Album Layout Sample

This is a sample of our 11" x 12.5" album. It comes with a box. It will be our standard album in 2009 (2008 is optional upgrade). We have another album option. I will post here when I have time to shoot some photos for it.

The coming weekend is a project about jewelery and fashion shooting. At the same time, I'm also the designer of the advertisement campaign. It makes things much easier (Reduce the time wasting "Designer vs Photographer" problem).

My Deformed Wacom Pen

Finally, we cleaned up some works. Because of the Sunday weather, client decided to change the shooting to next weekend. Jessie and I are having a day off today. However, last night's oily Italian pasta turned my stomach around and around this morning. It's lucky that we don't need to shoot today.

Today I looked at my poor Wacom pen... It's like being badly beaten and deformed. This pen means a lot to me. I started using it when I was getting serious with this photography and design business. Now, I have a new pen but I'm still using this one.

Wacom really made great tablets for artists. I strongly recommend it to anyone who is seriously in love with photography and artworks. It will save you a lot of time and keep you pen-holding hand working 10 years longer. Hands are always the most valuable things for artists. Protect your hand and arm from computer mouse now.

Busy Days - Photos & iPhone3G

What a busy month we have! We are working on a lot of photo editing and album layouts. When the wedding season begins, I sit in front of my workstation at home longer than in living room. The only fun we found is our new iPhone3G. Jessie is trying to know every single function it has. Because of limited time, I know what I need to know about it... LOL... such as installed a stupid App about Starwars lightsaber...

I found this interesting photo that I took. Groom and bride are close to each other but they pull out their phones. It's exactly like Jessie text-messaged me from her workstation when I was sitting in mine (1m away) for testing phone in these 2 days. "Hey hey.. how are you? Are you ok over there?"

RJP is joining Apple's Party

Jessie & I ordered two iPhone3G today. We will get them in 2 weeks, I hope. It's funny that Jessie really wanted to get one today. She lined up outside a store but all sold out. Then, we called Fido to order 2 instead.

I planned to get a PDA phone for work since last year but I couldn't find a suitable one. We really need one to store clients' info and their wedding locations. I want one having PDA function, Wifi and GPS. I almost bought HTC Touch Diamond last month. However, I waited...

A Special Decorated Wedding

We shot a very special wedding for Cecile & Ronald on Sunday. Their wedding planner, Serina Cho, did a great job to change a traditional Chinese restaurant into a western style banquet hall. They will host another banquet in Hong Kong after 2 weeks. We are going to give them some fully edited photos and a slideshow in 4 days before they leave Vancouver.

This photo shows how to make your helpers happy on your big day. But they will check how much inside as soon as you turn away...

A Hot Wedding On Canada Day

What a hot day today! Jessie and I expect more hot weddings ahead in Summer. It was a great and interesting photo session with Agnes & Hannes. We can't wait to see the whole set of finished photos.
