In the past years, 5D Mark II weather seal level was always a question in my mind. Today, I found my answer. Its weather seal is not better than a consumer grade camera. One of the 5D Mark II stopped working after 1 hour under heavy snowing. Except 2 wheels, all buttons didn't work. Moreover, it took photos by itself (5D2 is alive!). Now, I put it in a zip lock bag with huge amount of drying bags. Let's see if it will be back to normal. If not, I have to send it to Canon.
I hope 5D Mark III will have 7D's weather seal...
