Shalu & Rajat's wedding brought back a lot of memory from our wedding photography's starting point. We worked in quite a few Indian wedding receptions in 2006. At that time, we took a long time to get used to the dinner serving pattern in Indian Weddings. In this wedding shoot, We brought our snacks (just in case we missed the appetizers period... and we really missed it). Shalu is not only beautiful, but also very creative. She made her own beautiful bouquet and built the backdrop in her mom's house.
The couple's wedding was a "simplified" Indian wedding. It was much easier and we had a bit more time for photos. The sun finally came out after the ceremony (morning was raining). Everything just went very smoothly. At night, they had a dance battle game between groom's and bride's families. We had a lot of fun shooting it.
